SubscriberDear all,
Due to availability of licenses, probably i'll need to move my projects to the 2014 version, from 18.2 version. Someone can tell me the main differences between the two versions? For the static analysis, there is any huge change?
I tried to check on internet and ansys website, but there is no info about it.
Kind Regards,

SubscriberNo, unfortunately is 2014. I mean, the license 18.2 I'm using now won't be available anymore, which makes me change to the 2014 version.
That's why I would like to know if the functionalities are the same, specially for structural analysis module.

Ansys EmployeeFor functionalities of the software, I would recommend to ask that in Physics Simulation section.
Are you using this for research/paper/thesis or just for learning ?
If the latter is the case, you can just use the ANSYS Student (free) products if you are not trying to use lots of nodes/elements.
Thanks,
Win
