SubscriberHello,
Please find the attached screenshots and .dcso file for your reference. I am trying to simulate steady flow inside a mixing elbow in Ansys Discovery 2020 R2 in 'Analyze' mode. The mesh can be generated, but I am unable to obtain results for this fluid flow simulation. When I switch to 'Explore' mode, it seems to be working fine. Could you please advise what I could be doing wrong here?
Thank you,Jun

Ansys EmployeeHello Jun
I opened the file and couldn't see the results in Analyze mode. This looks like a problem which I will report it to the development team and let you know their response. As a workaround, I tried solving the analysis again (by changing the velocity) and was able to see the results. Can you check if this helps?
Secondly, I noticed some inconsistency in the images that you shared. In the Explore mode, the outer Solid is suppressed whereas in the Analyze model, it isn't suppressed. Can you cross check it again at your end? Although the model that you shared had the outer solid suppressed in both the modes.

SubscriberHello Naresh Patre ,
Thank you for your assistance.
Yes, I changed the velocity of "Flow Inlet 2" from 1 m/s to 2m/s, and now I can get a result in 'Analyze' mode. Attached below is a screenshot.
In terms of the outer Solid being suppressed, yes, I was previously trying to see if suppressing the outer Solid would work, but it did not at that time.

Ansys EmployeeHi Jun
Can I know the graphics card on your machine? Also, are you observing the same behavior on other models too?

I am also facing the same issue. The results are not displayed in the analyze/refine mode in ANSYS 2020 R2.5.
Please can you suggest the solution for this problem.
