      Hi RD

I need to have a better look at the model to understand what might be going wrong. I have shared a securetransfer link on your email, that you can use to upload your model.

      Thanks & Regards,

      Gaurav

      Hello Gaurav,

I have uploaded error received in Transcript and Model Image file for your reference.

Request to solve the problem based on images (I am sorry that I cannot share the data as it is confidential).

      Thanks,

      Rohan

As per the attached transcript image, it seems you do not have enough memory available to solve this problem. You can try with a coarser mesh and ensure the node count is reduced, and that should help to attain a solution.

By the way, the transcript image also shows that there was a warning message encountered. Can you also share screenshot of the warning message.

        Thanks & Regards,

        Gaurav

Please can explain attached error in meshing.

Kindly guide how to solve this problem.

        Thanks,

It seems you are using an element shape input to your mesh  and the shape is set to "Hexahedrons". If your geometry is complex and difficult to be captured by hexahedrons only, this will lead to failure of mesh and the error in your case appears to be indicating towards this.

If there are no specific reasons for the need of all hex mesh, you may try by using shape = automatic and this should do away the problem.

        Regards,

        Gaurav

      Kindly find attached warning message.

Please can you suggest some mesh parameters so that I can get a solution.

Thank you for the support. I was able to solve Physics and Modal Analysis when I increased the Mesh Size.

I would like to repair a model in Space Claim. Please find attached herewith images for the same.

Kindly reply how to solve these errors for Model Repair.

        Thanks,

        RD

Did you try the options listed under repair tab. They should be helpful.

To know more about different options, you can place the cursor on any icon and hit F1 to open the detailed help. The "extra edges" highlighted above should help you do away some of the problems you have highlighted.

        Regards,

        Gaurav

Thank you for the reply. I tried out these options and was able to solve the geometry errors.

Query - ANSYS AIM is frequently Not Responding and closing down. Please can you suggest something in order to avoid this and speed up the process.

Such issues with AIM are generally resolved by following the options listed below:

        1. Clear the contents of temp folder (type %temp% in windows Taskbar to access temp folder)

        2. Close all the open Discovery Applications and go to the following appdata folder (C:Users****AppDataRoamingAnsys) and rename the folder v194 to v194.old)

        3. Try updating the your graphics driver by visiting http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

PS: I would encourage you to use "Request Support" everytime there is a new query, which is not related to the ongoing discussion. This helps in better management of queries and is also easier for other users to search for it and benefit out of it in case they are facing similar issues. Thanks for your understanding.

        Best Regards,

        Gaurav
