SubscriberHi all, while updating Ansys Workbench from 19.0 to 19.1 we reinstalled discovery live (which worked before updating). Now using Ansys 19.1, Discovery doesn't start anymore after reinstalling. We get an error message concerning the initializing of CUDA. We do have the latest graphic-card driver. So now the question: What is wrong? What can we do? Thanks for response.

SubscriberHallo Naresh Patre ,
thank you for your quick response. We installed the latest CUDA toolkit as you aviced. But it did not fix the problem. Still the same error message occurs.

Ansys EmployeeHello Roland Go into the NVIDIA Control Panel (i.e. right click on your PC desktop, or through Windows search option). Then go to "Manage 3D settings" There will be 2 tabs, "Global settings" and "Program settings" Go to "Program settings", select "SpaceClaim" and then set "Preferred Graphics processor" as "High Controlled NVIDIA processor" and "Power Management Mode" as NVIDIA driver-controlled"If the above options are not helping, send the following log files located in %AppData%RoamingSpaceClaimLog Files after this CUDA message occurs: SpaceClaim_*.log RHApplication_*.log RHSolver_*.log

SubscriberHello Naresh Patre
I took over your adaptations for the setting of the graphic-card. But I did not work.
Beside that, I don't have all the options as mentioned by you. Just have a look at the attached screen shot.
Furthermore I attached the log file, as you asked.
So what else can we do in order to run Discovery Live?

Ansys EmployeeRoland Can you check if you also have files starting with RHApplication_ and RHSolver_ in the logs folder? Can you upload them as well?
