SubscriberHi,
I have a question while making discovery related materials.
Fidelity at the Explore stage was compared for each graphic card using a PC owned by the company.
Although the graphics card type is different, it has been confirmed that the Fidelity value is the same when the GPU-only memory is the same.
So, whether I need RTX graphics or Quadro graphics, I wonder if the Fidelity values are the same if the memory values are the same.
And when suggesting a graphics card to a customer, ask if you can recommend the largest GPU memory.Another thing I'm curious about is that the last specification is that the graphics card has three. However, the difference in performance does not seem to be much greater than that of having one graphic card.
Please inquire if the presence or absence of the number of graphics cards affects the Fidelity value in the Explore phase.Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeHello smjang
I apologize for the late response here.
I discussed this with my team and there are a couple of things here:
Irrespective of the type of Graphics card, for the same GPU memory the fidelity will more or less be very similar.
In the last case with 3 Graphics cards, Discovery will only use one graphics card at a time. Therefore using multiple graphics will not really make any difference.

SubscriberHello smjang Is the simulation calculation faster with the geforce rtx 2060 or with the quadro rtx?

SubscriberRoberto It is impossible to compare the fast ones as the simulation proceeds with a simple shape. I'm not sure that the Explore step comes out in seconds. We could only compare the Fidelity which is determined by the amount of GPU memory.
