SubscriberI am trying to assist a user set-up their Discovery subscription and in their myaccount.ansys.com login the Administration tab does not appear - any advice?
The customer has been sent a subscription, but not been able to get it enabled. They do have a trial license up and working, but the Administration tab isnt available to assign the subscription. The customer is Tomi at Purso in Finland, if you need to look up their subscription.

Can you send me their company ID? It should be in the license text file that they received.

Thanks for sending the customer ID. I have made Tomi as Admin. He should now be able to Administration tab.

SubscriberHi Naresh - OK it reappeared, but in the Admin area, there is a previous allocation to Tomi with 0 subscriptions. Because I believe you cant invite a user who already has a subscription, I removed that User, and the issue repeats itself (the Admin tab is no longer available). If this is the wrong action I shouldnt be taking, the system needs improving to either prevent this, or make it clearer what needs to be done. When I have unassigned before, I thought that the user stays in the user field, and then you cant assign the new subscription. Im on Teamviewer with the client, if you want to join in and help resolve for me?

Ansys EmployeeThere is an issue observed that if the user (who is an admin) is removed from the users list, the user is losing the admin rights. This issue has been reported to the concerned team. As a workaround, it was requested not to remove the user from the Users list. Assigning/unassiging subscriptions can be done using assign/unassign buttons.

Regarding the issue reported earlier, it is expected behavior. An administrator must be a user in the company. If they are removed as a user for the company, they are going to lose their admin privileges for the company as well.
