I have a computer with graphic errors.
I updated the NVDIA GTX1070 video card to the latest version and downloaded the cuda10.2.
Even after the updates the problem persists (I have also uninstalled and re-installed spaceclaim always with administrator rights).
What can it be?

That's very strange. It looks like the bottom bar that shows information is being stretched. Typically it shows X, Y values when on a sketch plane.
When did this problem begin?
Please run "dxdiag.exe" from the Windows Start menu. Save the information and send it to me.

Let me know if this has any effect.

Brian Bueno Hi Brian, I'll let you know as soon as possible.
Point 5 I can already tell you that the scale size is set to 100% whereas for point 3 you have to check

Brian Bueno Hi Brian
I checked and the nvcuda.dll file is not there while the nvcuda.LLD file is present.
Do you have other solutions?

Brian Bueno do you have any other ideas on how to solve the problem? Or is the graphics card not suitable?

Have you tried changing the Graphics Renderer? Could you also try 'Reset all settings' from File> Live Options> Advanced?

Subashni Hi Subashni
I have decreased all the performances to the minimum because if I leave the defaul values it is worse sets high quality

Subashni Could it be that this graphics card has a problem with live discovery?

Did you know by chance if there are any news regarding this problem?

Hi Roberto ,
According to the DXdiag your driver is vers 431.60 which is from July. There have been updated drivers in august and september. please go to www.nvidia.com and install the latest driver

Ethan Rabinowitz Hi , I tried the August drivers and kept on not going, now I will try those in September.
However from what I understand it would seem a problem related to the graphics card and drivers

Roberto Hi, this GPU is on the list of friendly drivers https://discoveryforum.ansys.com/t/x150rr/list-of-known-discovery-live-friendly-gpus-or-graphics-cards
Other users have reported it working after installing in another location https://discoveryforum.ansys.com/t/m2gqzh/cuda-version
Also geforce cards are compatible but more prone to errors so its possible there is a defect with that card.
Have you already formatted the PC?

Ethan Rabinowitz Hi, I haven't yet formatted the computer, I'll try to get the customer to install the last September driver update.
Thank you for giving me the whole list of graphic cards.
Thank you very much

Roberto Please also ask the customer to make sure all windows updates are applied, including .net and drivers for all other hardware. Computer systems have become so complex that often 1 unrelated thing impacts another, so its important to make sure the entire environment is up to date and running smoothly.
