SubscriberWhen I create a model in Discovery Live and split a face on that model, running a structural analysis and applying a force to that split face works correctly. But when I import the same model from SolidWorks and then split the face in Discovery Live, the force on the split face has no effect (I get zero stress or displacement). Why might this be happening?

SubscriberUPDATE: This seems to only be an issue when I import assemblies from SolidWorks. Bringing in a single body works fine, but bringing in a multi-body assembly is when the issue occurs.

Ansys Employeetspahn This may be because the parts are not internalized into Discovery Live. Please go to the structure tree, right click on the top level, choose source and select internalize all. This will make sure that all the parts in the assembly are loaded into the Discovery environment.

SubscriberAndrew Stankovich That didn't seem to have any effect. Is there a way to verify that it did actually internalize all of the parts?
