Discovery Live Startup Issue

  When I go to run Discovery Live 2019, nothing seems to pop up – it’s almost as if I’m opening up a darker version of Spaceclaim for some reason:
  
  Normally, I’d expect a whole menu and even a pop up page to ask me what kind of discovery live session I’d like to run.
  
  I was wondering if it’s something to do with my installation
