SubscriberHi,
My customer is interested to know which mathematical method is used in DL.
In addition, I searching for validation documents (DL to Experiment, DL to other codes). Did ANSYS validated DL results with reality as well as Fluent/CFX/ANSYS Mechanical?
All questions are related to the big question, how much the customer can trust the results.
Thank you

Ansys EmployeeHello ozuehlke
Please check out below post on simulation technology used in Discovery Live.
Discovery Live Simulation Technology
Discovery Live is intended to study the trend of results and is ideally not suited to check the accuracy of results. You can quickly edit the geometry, change the boundary conditions and so on to quickly see its impact on the results. Once you get a fair idea about the changes you need to do for meeting your requirements, you can then solve the model more accurately in Discovery AIM or ANSYS flagship products based on the physics involved and view the results.
If you are finding any inconsistency with the trend of results seen in Discovery Live or any other issues, please provide detailed information about the same and we will look into it.

SubscriberHi Naresh,
Thank you. Did ANSYS validated the results of DL? The question is not about the accuracy, but if the results are trustful or not in general (I'm speaking about the trends).
