SubscriberDear all, I am modeling a bridge consists of two different materials (Steel and Bamboo) and two different type of contacts between component (Bonded and Frictional). The bridge is fix supported at both ends and a load is applied at the center of bridge. The simulation stopped itself without any external interruption, with red lightning bolt symbol emerged next to the solution tab.
There is no error message in the solver output. In the Displacement Convergence plot, the convergence line drops far below the criterion line, however, in the force convergence plot, the convergence line stays far above the criterion line. May I know what is the underlying cause? Appreciate if you could assist :)

SubscriberHi Peter, just wonder how did you come out with the numbers? It turns out better! Substeps convergence are now there. But why the same problem happened again where the solver stopped itself with red lightning bolt appeared next to solution tab? Should I further increase the maximum substep? Appreciate for your help nn
