SubscriberHello,
Is there a way to display component or solid name that is in the tree on the member depicted in sketch area? or when you click on solid it displays the name of the solid without looking at the tree.
Regards,
Sam

SubscriberThank you Sandeep!
What you suggested is what i have been doing. i was trying to avoid writing notes.
In the tree, is there a way after i rename the solid, the component will have the same name? Now i am renaming the component and renaming the solid. i want to minimize my renaming work .
Regards
Sam

Ansys EmployeeYeah, I think it has to be manually redone sam. I am not aware of a simpler way other than scripting may be.

Ansys EmployeeYou can display name.
When you select any body in model tree, it is highlighted in graphics.
When you select any body in graphics, you can use right click and use Locate in Structure Tree
Hope this helps.

Keyur
