SubscriberI just installed 19.3 and excited to try DCS in workbench to have parralel computing in workbench, (to be precise in DOE and surface response optimization section). However, when I try the option : "open design point web service" under jobs tab in ansys workbench. but when I click on it, it goes to https://localhost/dcs/dps/#/projects/ which doesn't open in any browser. do you know how it works?

Ansys EmployeeHi EM Design,
If you have not started the service yet, you won't be able to access it from a web browser.
Please go to Start -> Ansys 2019 R3 -> Design Point Service
Once that is running go to:
https://localhost/dcsauth
Add a user and password there.
In the task manager you should see a new processe:
dcdps.exe
Restart Workbench, and try again.
Please let me know how that goes.
Thank you,
Jake

Ansys EmployeeHi,
You set the username and password at the website:
https://localhost/dcs/auth
Log in with the default username and password:
username: dcadmin
password: dcadmin
However you have to have that service started first by running:
Start -> Ansys 2019 R3 -> Design Point Service
Once logged in with the default username and password click on the users tab and then the add button.
Here you can add a user for yourself.
Thank you,
Jake
