Distributed Solver Problem ANSYS 18.2

  Hello, I cannot run calculations in very simple model in ANSYS 18.2 mechanical, when distributed option is checked. SMP mode works correctly, when DMP is used (no Solver Output file is generated, calculations are stopped on Preparing Mathematical Model). The same situation is on Direct and Iterative Solver. Does anyone have suggestions?n

  Hello Ciema,nDo you have a firewall enabled?nCan you try shutting it down and then try to run distributed?nAlso, are you connected to VPN when running?nBest,nGeon

  Thanks for reply! The problem was with Network Card ID for docking station. When docking station was not used, the problem disappeared. nMany thanks for help.n
