SubscriberHello,nI'm working with CADNexus to import a CATPart file with parameters created on CATIA V5 to SpaceClaim. I'm trying to run many CFD simulations with parameters on my geometry in order to obtain a response surface. nThe probem is that after my first calculation is done (on the geometry with initial parameters) all the other design points apparently update the geometry and the meshing well but after solving with fluent I got the exact same result for every design points.nTo make sure the geometry was really updated every time, I tried with absurd values (like a thickness equal to 0) but DesignXplorer surprisingly does not seem to face any issue although this update is obviously impossible on CATIA. So I'm not even sure that new geometries are created and I am afraid that only the initial geometry is used.nI'm using Ansys 2019 R3nI'll be glad if anyone can help.n

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation. Click here to join this event to learn how to leverage Ansys Fluids on the cloud, thanks to Ansys Gateway powered by AWS.
