        Hello, Since 1 week (and the update of windows), several of our customers have lost the possibility of "double click" on .scdoc or .stp in SpaceClaim After having tried the modifications in the windows registry by adding   USERUNNINGSPACECLAIM = true" / UseLicenseMode = true in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT SpaceClaim.Document Shell Open command HKEY_USERS Software Classes Applications SpaceClaim.exe shell open command it still doesn't work, do you have an idea? -->Error message: "No valid license file was found. How do you want to proceed?"

        Does double click work if SpaceClaim is already open? Please go through this post, and see if it solves the issue.

        I have filed a bug (BUG ID: 367451), I have not heard back from the developers yet, I will let you know as soon as possible.

      I had the same problem today, no way to fix? I have already changed log files and scdoc files do not open with double click.

      Why does this happen to some users? on some versions of windows 10

        No sorry.... I got used to the idea and I gave up. I use drag and drop and I'm waiting for the next version (2021R2 hoping to have a good surprise)

      I solved the problem by creating a new user with administrator rights and installing spacecliam inside C: ProgramData.
      Installing it in the default location was still giving me problems.
      The program data folder is shareable for all users it might be better to install it here.
      Before installing it I uninstalled spaceclaim and deleted all hidden folders
