      Hello, One of our customers hasn't been able to double click on a .step file since the 2020R2 update. I modified the registry key but without success (see photo). Can you tell me what I did wrong? Regards

      Hello NOVACAD

      I think you need to replace this file as well.

      HKEY_USERSSoftwareClassesApplicationsSpaceClaim.exeshellopencommand

      (For safety, save the original link, so if it doesn't work, re-enter it again)

      And replace it with the link below:

      "C:Program FilesANSYS Incv202scdmspaceclaim.exe" "%1" "USERUNNINGSPACECLAIM=true" /UseLicenseMode=true

      Hello,
      I just checked and this key was also modified without solving the problem....
      Do you have another suggestion?

      regards

      Hello charlie Try replacing the registry key in the picture. "C: Programmi ANSYS Inc v202 scdm spaceclaim.exe" "% 1" " USERUNNINGSPACECLAIM = true" / UseLicenseMode = true   After changing the registry keys, restart your computer.

      hello,
      Thanks for your help Roberto, but it still doesn't work....
      The strange thing is that it works with DISCOVERY 2.5 (if I change property> opens with) but not with SpaceClaim...

      Regards

        @charlie Hello

        I’m sorry it doesn’t work, I’ve always solved it this way.
        Do you have more than one version installed?

        try to change this registry key too, let me know if it works
