SubscriberI have got an academic research license. Instructions say to install Discovery AIM. I installed it and is working fine with license. But it's totally different from workbench. So I want to know if the license can be applied for workbench to remove student version limitations -

Ansys Employeeit depends on what academic research license you have.
If you open up your license file, you will see line(s) start with INCREMENT, please post only the first two fields of each INCREMENT line, like this
INCREMENT aa_r
INCREMENT aa_t_a
INCREMENT aa_t_i
.
.
.
INCREMENT xyz
then we will be able to tell you if your licenses can be used with other applications.
Thanks,
Win

SubscriberDear tsiriaks
There are a lot of these INCREMENT lines as you have said. Should I post all of them or is there a specific INCREMENT xyz related to workbench?
Thanks,
Anant

Ansys EmployeeHi Anant,
Unfortunately, there are lots of different features that can be used with WB, so it's best that you list them all and I will let you know.
Also, there are lots of different tools in WB, please let me know what tools you are looking to use in WB.
Thanks,
Win
