SubscriberMy school uses Ansys15. I would like to know how to download that specific version rather than latest version?

SubscriberAny advise on how to main compatibility between the two versions? I had problems when files created with the new version cannot be run on school PCs.
Or how to get that version?

SubscriberI had the same problem, but... Don't you use the command mode? Commands list doesn't change much from one version to another, so I think that you can just save your code and run it then on school PC.
In my university we use 11th version of it, while I have ANSYS Student 18.0 on my laptop. My code works equally good in both cases.

SubscriberHello guys, usually and thats not inclusive if you generate a model on a new version you cannot open it on an older one with ANSYS but you can do the opposite, so if you generate a model using an older version you can open it using a later version. -

SubscriberSo if I create the work station with the older version, I can view with either edition. What if I did some work with the newer version, is it backward compatibility?
