SubscriberIn theory of ansys, collision and droplet coalescence model(Chapter: Discrete phase). In collision and coalescence model theory there is one parameter mentioned in collision outcome: bouncing called k (restitution coefficient). So I have a doubt that how the value of k is selected for each case (0, 1 or in between) by Ansys software? please help me with this!!

Forum ModeratorOK, the value is fixed and I can't share the command to access that value. I have written an external Knowledge Resource (search at the top) to give you the value: that'll be available as soon as it's approved. I'll be requesting a documentation update too.
Unfortunately I can't say more as I had to talk to the person who wrote the code (or was very involved in writing) so I'd be breaking the rules by sharing any additional information. The reference [217] in https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v232/en/flu_th/x1-69900016.24.3.html may contain some useful information: I don't have access to the document to check.
