Dynamic AOA simulation with damping

I want to simulate the vortex induced rotational vibration of a 2d airfoil hinged at (0,0). The airfoil will have a 2-D rotational motion (1 DOF) about the z-axis, due to vortex shedding.

1.> How can I plot the angular displacement of the airfoil with respect to time?

2.> I want to add inherent damping of the airfoil to the solver and then measure the amplitude of torsional vibration for each time steps. How can I achieve this?

      Case similar to -

If you monitor min & max of x & y coordinate do some maths (Custom Field Function) you should be able to get the angle.  Note, monitor points are fixed to their location and don't move with the mesh.

Given you're using a UDF to rotate the wing, you'll have to code damping into that function.

The fluid forces are rotating the wing. How do I code damping into that?
