SubscriberHi. Im currently doing my final year project in Emulsion characterization in a 90 degree bend pipe. Im using VOF method.I need to know if the oil and water is injected or simply put at the at the phase setting.

SubscriberRaj, you set the primary and secondary phases, and define their interaction in the Phases panel. You then prescribe the appropriate conditions at the boundaries through which oil and water would enter and leave. Below are a few video tutorials that would be of help:

As shown in tutorials, please patch the volume of fraction before starting iterations.
Also make sure that only one phase enters from inlet.

Ansys EmployeeI would also recommend reviewing the Multiphase chapter in Documentation: specifically the limitations of VOF and it's numerical methods.
Edit: moving to Fluids section too.
