SubscriberHello all,
I am aware of how to activate the v2f turbulence model in ANSYS fluent. When attempting to make use of the model, I am experiencing errors due to lack of an available license. My aim is to deploy this model in an HPC environment, and I would like to know what steps I need to take in order to do so. Thanks,

Ansys EmployeeIt was taken out fairly recently, so I don't think there's any way to use it now. The model was added in about Fluent 6 as part of a collaboration but licenced separately for some reason.

SubscriberRob,
That's to bad. Do you know why it was removed? Could you recommend any workarounds or alternatives?

Ansys EmployeeNo workaround as the model isn't there. For the alternative it depends on what you're modelling, RSM is probably the next model in terms of functionality and cost (both being higher) or the 2-equations models (cheaper but potentially less accurate).
