SubscriberMy name is Bartosz and I come from Poland, my problem is as follows.n I am a student of Energetics at the Opole University of Technology and I have to write an engineering thesis on: Numerical comparative analysis of permanent pressure losses on flow caused by differential pressure flowmeters. nSo the goal of my work is a numerical comparison of the flow resistance caused by such flow meters as: nozzles, orifices, reducers Venturi, micro-reducers, damming probes, under the same conditions, in order to obtain an accurate measurement with the lowest possible pressure drop.nThe work is to consist of a numerical analysis of the distribution of such parameters as pressure and velocity in the installation using structures prepared in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2021, and then numerical simulations in Workbench 2020 R2 (Fluid Flow - Fluent).nI would like to add that I mastered the use of Autodesk Inventor Professional 2021 to a very good degree, and to an average degree in Workbench 2020 R2.nI really don't know where to start.nWould anyone be able to help me and how can I start my engineering work? What kind of literature to look for?n -

AdministratorHello,nYou might want to start learning Ansys Fluent using these Ansys Innovation Courses (AICs). Here is the link to our First Learning Track - Basics of Fluid Flow. Even though we cover the fundamental physics extensively in these courses, you might want to focus on the Simulation Examples and Homework problems in each course. When you log in, you should have access to the simulation files as well as take the quiz question to test your knowledge. nThis should hopefully help you get started. You should also be able to explore other learning tracks here to learn other advanced topics. nOne note - all the videos in this course uses Fluent in the standalone mode. You should be able to do the same by launching Fluent in WB. nI hope this gives you a good starting point.nThank you.nKarthikn

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation. Click here to join this event to learn how to leverage Ansys Fluids on the cloud, thanks to Ansys Gateway powered by AWS.
