SubscriberHello!
I have been trying to postprocess and plot the proximal and distal mean wall shear stress of a vessel against time in a transient simulation in Ensight.
Thus far I have created a clip plane on the selected parent part wall, and chose settings, plane, intersect, mesh and finite. This is made interactice and has been moved to the proximal section of vessel.
Thereafter, the variable wall of mean wall shear stress has created using the predefined function SpaMean with settings wall shear variable, []component and per case. This new variable of MeanWSS has been put under the created clip plane, which I presume is the average of the circumferential WSS at the clip plane.
How do I now create a plot of MeanWSS against time at this location?? When I go to create Query/Plot what sample should I chose? e.g. node/element/IJK/XYZ against time etc?
Thank you,
Enhui

SubscriberActually I found out how to do this by right clicking the variable e.g. MeanWSS (under constants per part) and then select plot vs time. Have kept this here incase someone else finds it useful.
It plots the SpaMeaWSS against time, sampling the maximum over time (which appears similar to the minimum over time anyway as it is a constant). Output is below and I have done this for proximal and distal.
One further question, how could I export this value against time to get this for all the timesteps in a single file that I could view in excel. I may have 5-6 cases and could then amalgate and average then to have a generalised comparison of the cases. Thank you in advance
