I want to enter some personal factors like (humidity, metabolic rate, clothing level) in fluent. How can I do this?
Thanks in advanceJune 21, 2021 at 6:40 amDrAmineAnsys EmployeeUsing User Defined Scalar if you want to transport them or using Fluent Expression or User Defined Memory. If Algebraic expressions then Fluent Expressions or UDM is the way to go!
June 22, 2021 at 11:19 amRobAnsys EmployeeThere's a UDF for working out the ISO 7730 values. Typically RH is part of the solution and the clothing & metabolic rate are values set by the user (and constant over the whole domain). It's probably something that can be coded up as an expression now, and the maths is covered in the standards.

How can I get the code related to this and how can I use it in fluent?.
Can you help?
Thanks in advance.
June 24, 2021 at 6:21 amDrAmineAnsys EmployeeI recommend doing that on your own using Fluent Expressions and if some iteration is required then please with UDF. We have some internal solutions for thermal comfort which we cannot post on this open platform.
