SubscriberI'm doing a 6dof simulation with dynamic mesh using 32 partitions, and i'm stuck with this error.Every time i have to re run the simulation from the previous timestep saved and then waiting until the new error appears. How can i manage this poignant situation? Many thanks for answeringReversed flow on 590 faces (48.0% area) of pressure-outlet 7.15500 9.8129e-04 8.6072e-08 9.1432e-08 1.0210e-07 3.9284e-10 1.0618e-07 0:00:15 5!15500 solution is convergedFlow time = 0.1233400000000002s, time step = 131619734 more time stepsUpdating solution at time level N...done.Updating mesh at time level N...set_part_dest_tree: cell not found on myid = 18 The fl process could not be started.==================================================================================== BAD TERMINATION OF ONE OF YOUR APPLICATION PROCESSES= RANK 0 PID 25880 RUNNING AT DESKTOP-C8FD4F6= EXIT STATUS: -1 (ffffffff)=================================================================================== -

Ansys EmployeeHello,
-Whether the same error occurs while previewing the dynamic mesh?- Is the error reproducible?
- Is it happening for this particular case of observed for other cases as well?Check transcript file for Cell Skew and Orthogonal Quality, if they are far away from an acceptable range consider improving the mesh first.
Also, share some more information such as mesh type, dynamic mesh settings (smoothing/remeshing) etc.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
