SubscriberHi, nI'm doing creep analysis with user-defined material in static structural and using Norton creep law damage model to find the deformation or deflection. But got this error every time. The equivalent creep strain ratio has exceeded the specified limit value. Since the time increment has reached the minimum value, the analysis is stopped.nncan anybody recommend anything plz...nregards -

Ansys Employee,nCould you please provide some more information regarding your setup? Mainly connections, mesh, loading and BC. Please check this https://forum.ansys.com/discussion/8469/equivalent-creep-strain-ratio-error and https://forum.ansys.com/discussion/1569/creep#comment-f5b223c0-d95a-4697-b53d-a8f200b87531. I hope you are using multiple load steps(first one without creep and second one with creep) as shown in the second discussion. nRegards,nIshan. n -

SubscriberArray, Thank you for replying to me backn Yes, I'm using multiple steps along with creep on in the 2nd step. I have seen the discussion and have resolved some issues of creep strain ratio but I'm a little bit confused about the model that peter delineated in his discussion such as I made a model of a 1 m long part. Is he talking about the model height or length? kindly brief on this.nMoreover, I have simulated my project at 350 N force. I'm sharing some pics. PLz let me know, how can I banish the following errors? nLastly, I want to know that if the physical experiment is done in 47 hrs, let's just say. Then what are the time steps for getting the 47hrs result in ANSYS Simulation?.regards n
