SubscriberHi, I already had a new version of ANSYS Fluent. But it was not functioning properly so I uninstalled it and downloaded the application again. But, next time I got an error while installing the software. The error did not actually display anything even though I waited 2-3 hours for it to load and display something. I am sharing the picture of the display I get when I try installing the software. It would be really great if someone can help me figure out the issue. Thanks.

AdministratorThe zipped file seems about the right size. The error you are seeing seems bizarre. And you have re-downloaded the installer files, right? Could you please confirm?
Also, what is your computer hardware like?
Thanks.

SubscriberI think the problem was in downloading the newest version of the software even on my laptop. But then I tried downloading 19.3 version and it successfully installed. But after opening the workbench I cannot see any items in my toolbox. It looks as follows. I don't know if it is the licensing error or something on my side. It would be great if you can help me with this.

Ansys EmployeeIf you mean 2019R3 then it should work. If you mean R19.3 where did you get it from?

SubscriberOhh I am sorry I misspelled it. It is indeed the 2019R3 version and I downloaded it from the official ansys website. But I am still getting the workbench page as shown above.

Ansys EmployeeUninstall all ANSYS applications you have on the machine, then manually delete your ANSYS installation directory (e.g., C:Program FilesANSYS Inc)
Open CMD Prompt, and enter the following command
move "%appdata%ansys" "%appdata%ansys.old"
As others have stated, make sure your package is recently downloaded (or you can just re-download it again)
Once you have the package, unzip it and browse to 'prereq' folder, then manually run all the installers here one-by-one. Make sure they are all successful. You can skip the opencl and MPI related ones. You may need to reboot after this.
Now run the ANSYS installer (setup.exe) with 'run as administrator'
Do you still see that critical error pop-up ?

SubscriberThanks for reaching out to me, I did resolve the problem of installation and now there is no error popping up. But after installation, I cant see the analytic systems in the toolbox. In spite it being selected, I cant see it in my toolbox. It would be great if you can take a look at it as well. Thanks again for your time.
