SubscriberHi,
I have got an error message once I want to start iteration when parallel process activated. The screenshots are attached
If I deactivate the double-precision, the error becomes to this:
This problem keeps happening whether the UDFs used. And the project will be working when I use the serial process even with UDFs.
Hope someone can help out, thanks!

Ansys EmployeeIf it works in serial with the UDFs and fails in parallel with the UDFs can you check the model in parallel without the UDFs? What does the UDF do?

SubscriberThanks for the reply.
This problem still happened in the parallel without UDF.
The UDF is to change diffusivity of mixture.

SubscriberI am using VOF, Solidification, and species transport models to simulate ash melting while some chemical reactions happening. only UDF used so far is the one to change diffusivity. To simplify, it is a 2d, transient, pressure-based, axisymmetric simulation.
Please let me know if I need to provide any specific details.

Ansys EmployeeAfter reading the case in parallel check if the partition boundary lies at the interface?
Try another number of cpus. -

SubscriberHi Amine,
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried another number of CPUs, it did not work. Could you tell me more about "the partition boundary lies at the interface"?
Thanks!
