I draw my geometry in Autocad and then convert it into stp file. Then, I inserted it in ANSYS and then I opened it (open geometry in the design modeler).
I made some modifications as defining surfaces, did (tool fill) to extrude the walls from my mesh in the next step, and then saved the file.
After closing the design modeler window, the geometry tab has a question mark, as I have not inserted anything, and the meshing tab has nothing when I open it!
I am attaching the screenshots of it.

Can you please try saving your geometry file and then import it into mesh?
