Error in the Discrete Phase Histogram plot of Mass Flow Rate

      Hello Everyone,

I have a model with Multiple inlets and Outlets. I wanted to plot the Mass Distribution of Outlets in Histogram. But when I was loading the file in the Trajectory Sample Histograms.

It was showing some error like "Reading sample file...
Read_Sample_Section: error reading history header from the file, giving up."

I also want to tell you that by default it was asking for .dpm format. But, I have the .out format. I hope this is not a problem.

Please help or suggest any answer.

      Thank you
      Raj

      do you want like

      outlet1 - mass flow

      outlet2 - mass flow etc.

you may want to use xy plot.

      you can also try excel.

      Regards,

      Keyur

I have around 147 outlets. I have given a single named selection for all the outlets like I have selected 147 outlets and named it as "Outlets".

I want to check each outlet mass flow and compare them. But, the fluent is giving me the sum of all outlets.

I hope you got my point, please let me know if you need any other info for helping me.

      Thank you

It will, you need separate labels for each surface. I assume you're using pressure outlets?

Yeah, I have pressure-outlets. But, I want to know, is it possible to do without giving individual names.

I just want to skip to do it again.

Please let me know if it is possible?

I am only concerned with individual values of mass flow, even the histograms can be excluded. If we have a any other possible solutions.

      Thank you

      you will have to separate.

you can use domain - separate option in fluent.
