SubscriberI have 2 messages in my meshing window. The warning one says:" All cell zones in fluent may be automatically set to fluid". I would like to clear the messages. In fact, I am modelling a 2D axisymmetric turbulent pipe flow. Furthermore, to create my mesh, I selected the mesh sizing creating 100 elements on the horizontal edges and 30 on the vertical ones. However, when I update the mesh, It odes not cover the all surface.

SubscriberYou can clear the messages.
If you created the geometry in DesignModeler, click on the Surface Body. In the Details window, there is a place to select Solid/Fluid. This will get rid of the message where it automatically sets them to fluid.
In Meshing, if you add a Face Meshing control to the face, you will get the rectangular elements you want. You may have to change the Sizing to Adaptive. On the Mesh object in the tree, the Details has a Physics Preference and that should be set to CFD.

SubscriberThank you very much Peteroznewman. I created my geometry in Spacelaim. I suppose i should find the surface body there too, but I don't know where to find it. I applied your recommendation and it works perfectly for the meshing.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
