SubscriberHi,
I am having some problems with updating the CFX-Pre component in ANSYS 18.2. I had a previous simulation in CFX that was working properly, but since I changed the named selections in Design Modeler and altered some of the Mesh sizings, I now have an issue when trying to open CFX-Pre in Workbench or update this component with a Workbench journal script. The error I get is as follows (see attached image): "It is not possible to extract any mesh from the file: {file path}.cmdb" and "IO Dataset has incorrect format".
Any help you could give would be great!
Thanks,
Nick

Ansys EmployeeHave you checked your script whether it is consistent with your new mesh / named selections? Can you just setup the case without any scripts at first?

SubscriberThank you for the quick response. I've also tried to set up the case from Workbench, but I get the same error.
Thanks,
Nick

Ansys EmployeeWhat about setting the CFX file in Standalone? Have you tried that?
