/usr/ansys_inc/v221/aisol/CommonFiles/linx64/ansyswbu.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libnsl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I am trying to run Ansys on Linux, but I'm getting this error when I try to open certain files. What causes this error and can you advise on a fix?

      Hi dxc,

The error "error while loading shared libraries: libnsl.so.1" indicates that the Linux operating system is unable to find the libnsl.so.1 library, which is a system library required by the Ansys application. This library provides network services, and it's possible that it's missing or not installed on your system.

To fix this issue, try installing the libnsl library using your system's package manager.
