export static structural results to a transient , and couple this transient with Fluent to do FSI

  Hi All,
  
  I would like to export the static structural results (deformed geometry and stress, strain) to a new transient structural panel to do new FSI simulation (couple this transient structural with fluent). Does anyone know how to deal with it?

  Convert the Static Structural model to Transient Structural. Under Analysis Settings, make this a 3-step analysis. In step 1, turn off Time Integration. This is where you solve the static loads. That solution becomes the starting point for step 2, where you turn on Time Integration. You need step 2 to make no changes so the solution is the same, but at some small time increment, like 1e-3 s. What this does is initialize the velocity of the system to be zero. Then in step 3, you apply the transient loads.
