Extensional flow in tapered nozzle simulation

      Hello,

I haven't found any discussion on this topic, so I would like to ask: when simulating a tapered geometry (pipe or nozzle), does Fluent take into account the elongation viscosity and, therefore, the extensional flow present in there? It's not possible to set any extensional viscosity in Fluent. This information would be useful to evaluate the results I am getting.

      Thank you in advance!

No, only the turbulent viscosity or variable material viscosity depending on what you've activated.

Having looked online it's used for polymer flows, so you may want to look at Polyflow, and read the documentation.
