SubscriberDear All,
I have a problem on getting the velocity profile from a cell register (drop) inside the 3D rectangular. Normally, I would get it manually by probing the center of cell register (drop) in every time step to get velocity. This would be likely inaccurate. Could you please help to suggest to get this data stored in each mesh? I plan to do calculation on the portion of velocity in each mesh that related to the position of cell register over all mesh.
Thank you very much,
Best regards,
Ahmad

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Did you try using Solution Data while running the simulation?

SubscriberHello,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, but as my understanding, the capturing velocity data for example is mapped on plane or surface level. I am not sure that there is an option to map it on mesh level.
