Facing issues with Microsoft MPI in ANSYS EDT HFSS 2020R2

I recently switched to ANSYS EDT HFSS 2020R2 and found some trouble with distributed memory simulations. In 2020R1 I was able to use IBM MPI without any trouble with the help of this forum. To my surprise I have found that IBM MPI got replaced by MS-MPI. I have done pretty much same what I did for IBM MPI setup for installing MS-MPI. But the simulation got stuck with message nStarting Simulation engine for setup: Setup1 on DESKTOP-B4I9FQ7nAre there any additional applications to be installed along with MS-MPI(which comes with installation) ?nIf there is some standard procedure to be followed just like magical six step procedure in case of IBM MPI, please share with me. I am using the same configuration as described here. n

Hello Mahesh, nYou must use Intel MPI. MS-MPI is only for use with the Microsoft Job Scheduler.nRegards,nVivekn

Hi Array,nI am having a problem using Intel MPI. I am using CST Studio Suite 2020 too for MPI computing which uses Intel MPI 2017.0.4 version. But the usable version of Intel MPI is 2018.0.3 for HFSS distributed memory simulations. Since only a single hydra_service can be run at a time on a machine, this fact prevents me from using Intel MPI in case of HFSS simulations as CST uses only Intel's. Previously, with the usage of IBM MPI I haven't confronted this issue.n Can you please let me know How can I use Microsoft MPI with Microsoft Job scheduler ? If possible please share the detail procedure that could help me. nThanksnMaheshn
