SubscriberI am working on the project of Modelling of Combustion Process of Internal Combustion Diesel Engine Using Ansys ICE Fluent, in Which I am facing problem to obtain the Desired Result.
My Objective: To plot Graph between Crank angle and Cylinder Pressure of IC Engine
Problem: The output Report which is given by the Ansys ICE Fluent after simulation does not have the correct plot.
I want to obtain the Pressure vs Crank angle plot (figure2) but the obtain report contains flow time v/s time steps plot(figure1) in place of Pressure v/s Crank angle and still, after a number of simulation and data modification the obtain report does not have the desired plot.

Ansys EmployeeI don't use the IC tools, but check what you're monitoring in the reports.

SubscriberI am trying to obtain the Plot between Pressure inside the IC Engine Cylinder and Its Crank Angle.
I am using the Combustion simulation part of the ICE fluent.
But I unable to identify the problem or Mistake in my simulation setup which creates the wrong plot.
I also take the reference from here https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ansys/17.2/en-us/help/wb_icom/wb_icom.html

Ansys EmployeeIs there a panel where you set up the graph?

SubscriberTo obtain the output plot we have to define the various monitors definition in ICE fluent. But most of the time the Monitors definition setting is already defined. I am also using the Default Monitors Definition Setting.
I have also done some manipulations in this Monitor Definition, But still, the result is not satisfactory.

Ansys EmployeeAnd if you can put up one of the reports (use edit) so I can see that?

SubscriberI am attaching one of the reports which are automatically generated by the Ansys after completing the simulation.
As the simulation setup is showing up to 1000 number of time step but I run it only for 20 to 10 number of step, just to check whether I am getting the write result. But as I mention above the plots are not correct

Ansys EmployeeCheck how you've defined Chart 6: how does it differ from the others? And I need the INPUT settings for the various charts, otherwise I'm guessing what you set.

Ansys EmployeeOpen up the panel where you define the monitors and show me what the settings are. As some of the graphs seem to plot crank angle v something it's odd that others don't. Check each monitor carefully and post the set-up panel.

SubscriberEven after doing everything the same every step same which is shown in the above-mentioned videos, the resulting plots are a straight line(which is wrong). But in the videos they got the right plot, I cant understand how
I do everything the same, but my results differ, How ?????

SubscriberI think some steps are missing in the videos or some data which is useful for obtaining the right result.

Ansys EmployeePossibly, but as some of your results make sense, and some plot crank v time I'd go through and check your settings.

Subscriberhello sir,
sorry for the late reply
After too much searching, I identified my problem
I need these files (tut_comb_sect.x_t, injection-profile, Diesel_1comp_35sp_chem.inp,
and Diesel_1comp_35sp_therm.dat) to run my set up.
Sir, please send these files.
I am very grateful to you.

Ansys EmployeeThese will be included in either the tutorials that come with the software or on the Training Hub. You should have the former, and the latter can be downloaded with a subscription: I don't have copies (and can't share files either).
