SubscriberHow can I get wind loads subjected to win turbine from FAST (NREL) to ANSYS ?

Forum ModeratorWhat do you want to pass to Fluent? Chances are something can be done, but as I don't know what you have & want it's a bit difficult to answer.

SubscriberMy study includes getting the dynamic response of wind turbines due to wind load
So I thought the best practice for such problem is to get the wind profile from FAST to ANSYS, However I created a model for it in ANSYS ,but I kinda have doubts about the resultes

Forum ModeratorYou want to get the speed response? How did you add the profile to Fluent?

SubscriberI wanna get the response of wind turbine (tower) due to wind

Forum ModeratorRight, so the wind speed from FAST is the upstream flow boundary condition in Fluent?

SubscriberYes, it is

SubscriberOpenFast should replace ANSYS for the response of wind turbine, but itÔÇÖs results is not visualizable

SubscriberMy problem will be solved if lÔÇÖve got a manual or a tutorial for wind load simulation on win turbine
