SubscriberHello, I have hundreds of 2.5D fensap analysis of different airfoils and I want to get the iced airfoil coordinates without going through the FENSAP GUI. Is there an ASCII file FENSAP creates after fluent remeshing?

Ansys EmployeeHi
There are 2 grids that you might want to look at: The full remeshed 3d grid including the cells and the other is a lighter grid containing only the surface mesh, ice.grid. There is also an ice.stl file that you can look to explore. The former 2 can be converted to ascii using the convertgrid tool found inside the fensap bin folder. You can use the linux or command prompt to type in the commands. The usage ../pathtofile/convertgrid oldgrid newgrid -ascii
The ice.stl is in ascii.
And lastly, if suitable one can extract ice shape co-ordinates with viewmerical, by loading the ice.grid and enabling the 2dplot feature, to then saving the ice shape plot in csv format.
Thank you.
