      Hello,

I'm having hard time with a geometry, and I'm trying to find out if we have a way to find / select faces those missing a boundary condition or interface?

      Thanks in advance,

      Marcell

      Hi  marcellszeles

Are you working with Discovery AIM or Discovery Live? If you can share the model here it would be easier for us to understand your problem and come up with a solution.

      Hello,

I'm working in AIM, but the model is something I cannot disclose.

Does it have a command like "DefaultWalls()" to select all walls having no condition?

      Thanks,

      Marcell

Yes, you can use the command "DefaultWalls()" command for the Wall Boundary Conditions Location.

      Hi all,

I have a model in Discovery AIM, which consists of two regions (fluid and solid). I would like to obtain all the unassigned-to-BCs faces that are located in the solid region. I can do that by creating a new BC in the Solid Thermal Conditions and implementing the DefaultWalls() command. It works OK.

However, I would also like to know if there is a way to do it via the Selections Sets. Creating a new Selection Set and adding the DefaultWalls() command will ONLY highlight the unassigned-to-BCs faces that are part of the Fluid region.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks a lot,

      Ioannis

To create a Selection Set in such cases you should do it through the Warning message you receive in the Messages Window. Just Right Click>Select Location on the warning message. The unassigned faces are then highlighted on the model in orange colour. Then, you can create a Selection Set out of these faces by Right-Clicking>Add>Selection Sets.
