Fix to SLDPRT import error?

  I recently began using the student license for convenience over the remote server seat provided by my university. I received an error when trying to import a SLDPRT component that it was not compatible into Workbench which I saw has been discussed before. While I was successful opening the file in SpaceClaim as suggested in the thread, is there a solution available so that I can directly import the model without having to go through SC?n

  Not on the Student license, you have to open SolidWorks parts in SC.n
