SubscriberHi i'm using ansys student version now. I'm kinda trying to simulate mix of two liquid through long shape of pipe and observe surfaces by slicing it through length regularly. But since i'm using student ver. There's mesh limit, and so i can't make mesh for whole pipe(i can make it, but mesh got so bigger). As i heard there's a technique that after i simulate once, save the surface, and i can simulate from preivous result. Anyone can let me know how to do it? I would be really thankful.

SubscriberYou can create a section of your pipe and export the data/profiles at the outlet of the section and use this as inlet for simulating the next section of your pipe.

SubscriberSay you divide your pipe into 3 sections: inlet1->out1, inlet2->out2, inlet3->out3.
Run the first section of your pipe. Then from the Physics tab, go to Zones > Profiles... > Write... and select out1 as your surface and the value that you want to export to the second section (say xyz velocity).
For your second section of the pipe, import the profile from Physicas tab, Zones > Profiles... > Read and use this value in the boundary conditions for inlet2.
Repeat for the third section of the pipe.
