Fluent Crashes as is writing the view factor file

I'm trying to simulate a solar stepped still in fluent, I've run the simulation before using the S2S radiation model and everything worked out fine. However, as I looked through the results I realized that they weren't right and I tried to create a separate simulation. On the new simulation fluent crashes right away as it tries to write the view factor!! I don't know why is this happening. Something that I did notice was that the file type changed from "FFF" to "CFF", could this be the reason why is failing???

Have you saved the Workbench project: the file shouldn't be trying to save into the temp location by default. Check the S2S settings to make sure you've not overcooked the view factor calculation. n

I did save the workbench project. And I'm using the default settings for the S2S radiation model. How would I know if I'm overcooking the view factor?n

Before Ansys crashes this is the last message the console shows. n

Try the .s2s format. In 2021R1 that's the only option. I also don't see the other option in 2020R2. nI assume you don't have periodic boundaries or break any of the other model limitations? n

Deleting the mesh interface and making them manually solved the issue. Thanks Rob!n
