[FLUENT] Enhanced Wall Functions

I am a bit confused with the documentation. It says that the Enhanced Wall Functions blend different parts of the boundary layer. So are they truly y+ insensitive? Anything between 0 < y+ < 200 is an acceptable value?

Hi FluxLimited If you are using the W-equation, then yes, Enhanced Wall Function will be insensitive up to the logarithmic layer.

Thank you . But not for the k-epsilon model?

Its mesh insensitive but I recommend using omega based models. They are superior and do have automatic mesh aware wall treatment.
