Fluent launching issue in Ansys student version 2021

  I have installed Ansys student version 2021 R1. I am able to open the workbench, set up a model and run it. However, fluent launcher is not visible in the start menu unlike workbench. Hence, I am not able to open the case files. Could you please help to resolve the issue?

  Please share a screenshot showing your full "ANSYS 2021 R1" Windows Start menu. Please paste it into your comment, do not attach it as we cannot download attachments.

  Hello
  Workbench is available in the starts menu as shown in 1st screenshot. However, fluent is not available in start menu as shown in screenshot 2.

  Rather than typing "fluent", click the Start Menu icon and go to "ANSYS 2021 R1", you'll find Fluent under that.

  Do not type in the Search. Click the Windows Start Menu button. What do you see under the Windows Start Menu for installed applications? What version of Windows do you have installed? For example, clicking the WIndows Start Menu, NOT typing in the Search field, you will see all your installed programs.

  I have Windows 10. Fluent is not in the list inside ANSYS 2021

  If you installed the Student 2021R1 product you should see Fluent in the list if you scroll down past EnVideo.

  Please try running C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v211\ProductConfig.exe by right-clicking and selecting Run as Administrator. Select Configure Products & CADs, then select all products and configure. Please let me know if that populates the start menu with the missing FLUENT entries.

  I selected configure Products and CADS. Then the next page come like as attached. There is no option to select all products and configure. After installing like this, Fluent still does not appear in menu.

  Somehow during the install it missed some of the configurations. Can you go to C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v211\commonfiles\configs\winx64\config and run the AnsConfigFLUENT.exe, using right-click -> Run as administrator? That should add it to your Start Menu.

  Hi I have the same problem and I tried to follow the steps suggested but when i click on ProductConfig.exe and click on run as administrator nothing happens. Do you run ProductConfig.exe before intalling ansys or after the installation of the software?

  You run it AFTER the installation.
