SubscriberGreetings,
I'm trying to simulate a conjugate heat transfer using ANSYS Fluent 2022 R1. According to the user's guide, using the loosely coupled conjugate heat transfer, the temperature boundary condition from the solid zones is assigned to the fluid zone. I used a fluid time step size and solid time step size of 0.001s and 100, respectively. The coupling basis is fluid time steps of 10. Upon running the simulation for several fluid time steps, I've noticed that the temperature boundary condition to the fluid is just around 30C and the heat flux boundary condition to the solid is 0. What are the necessary steps in order to correct this?

Ansys EmployeeWhat's the boundary condition at the fluid-solid contact? If it's not wall & wall:shadow you may need to review Share Topology in SpaceClaim.
