Fluent Mesher Error in ANSYS 2019R2

I have to model a simple unijet nozzle through which water flows. I am using ANSYS 2019R2. This nozzle is used in the pipes which carry cooling water for the cooling of a solar panel. For the cooling of the solar panel, we use a set of pipes running under the solar panel.

Through the simulation, I would like to know the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet. For a particular pressure at the inlet, the outlet pressure should be known. I am using ANSYS Fluent in this case. During Meshing of this nozzle, I am getting errors and cannot proceed forward in my simulation. I am using Fluent Mesher using WaterTight Geometry.

The error I am getting is:

Error: Surface meshing and automatic repair was not successful on some faces (shown in red). You should repair or merge these faces in the CAD geometry before proceeding.

      Error Object: #f

I also tried using the Mesher in Workbench for Fluent. They had given me a message that my model has NURBS surfaces and would take a lot of time to mesh.

In this mail, I have attached a schematic of how the nozzle is placed in the solar panel,

the mesh I got in Fluent Mesher and the red areas marked in the images are the red areas shown in the error message.

I hope I have explained my problem clearly. Please help me in understanding this error and rectifying it.

      Awaiting your reply.

As ANSYS Staff, we can not download attachments. Please upload images using upload image functionality. nThis is very generic error. This could be due to geometry problem or due to wrong mesh sizing. Can you please check following? nPlease check geometry in SpaceClaim. Select geometry in structure tree --> Use right click --> Select Check Geometry. The geometry should be error free to proceed. If geometry has any errors, please modify/recreate geometry at those places.nIf geometry is error free, then please select 'CFD' as Physics Preference in meshing. nPlease give body/face/edge sizing so that mesh has sufficient mesh density and resolve important features. nFor the error, please use right click on the error and click on 'problematic geometry'. This will highlight geometry which is failing to mesh. You will need to modify geometry at this location or change mesh sizing. nIf your meshing has special controls like periodicity, please check if those are correctly defined. nnApart from this, some troubleshooting is described in help manual at nhttps://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v202/en/wb_msh/msh_troubleshoot.htmlnRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student Communityn

Hi Keyur, nThank you for your prompt reply. I was in the presumption that my ANSYS account was connected to my Gmail account. Mostly I get notifications in my mail if someone replied to my question. I was actually waiting for someone to answer for a long time. I did not know that you answered on the same day. Thanks a lot.nnI think there is a problem with geometry because when I did the first point u mentioned, there were some errors. The errors were:nThe errors are mentioned in the image image uploadednn

Please use Zoom to fit. It will show faces which has errors. Delete those faces and recreate them. nRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student Communityn
